MIDDLE EAST AIRLINES CANCELS FLIGHTS
BEIRUT, Lebanese carrier Middle East Airlines had to cancel 11 outgoing flights from Beirut airport due to airline's pilots strike to protest against the plan to privatize the carrier. The plan would include the dismissal of about 1000 workers.
