Valletta, Malta - The state decided to sell half of its 40 per cent

Malta said it intends to sell half of its 40 percent stake in the only Airport which serves the island by the end of this year. Though a spokesman for the Ministry for Investments said no decision had yet been taken about the conditions of the sale, this last will anyway leave a consortium headed by Vienna Airport operator Flughafen Wien as the biggest shareholder with 40 percent.
