FRANCIA, L'America West Airlines ha deciso di ampliare la sua flotta con l'acquisto di altri quattro A319. Tutti gli aerei saranno consegnati nel 2001. Noel Forgeard, Presidente dell'Airbus, ha dichiarato che "l'annuncio di quest'ordine all'Air Show di Farnborough è indicativo di come la domanda mondiale di Airbus continui a crescere".
