Italian Senate signed a bill to outlaw cluster bombs
Rome, Italy - The bill modified a 1997 law
The bill has been signed by 65 senators belonging to both majority parties and opposition. The law issued in October 29 1997, is going to be changed adding the words "Included submunitions of cluster munitions" after the words "Device or bomb". Cluster bombs are dropped from aircraft, helicopters or artillery systems mid-air opening spreading smaller submunitions.
