Schiphol tulip christened to mark 100th anniversary

Amsterdam, Holland - The flower was developed specially to mark this particular occasion

Bart Siemerink, director of the Keukenhof flower garden and Jos Nijhuis, President & CEO of Schiphol Group, christened the Schiphol tulip on Schiphol's Panorama Terrace today. This year, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is celebrating its 100th anniversary and the tulip was developed specially to mark the occasion. The Schiphol tulip was produced by the growers G. Lubbe en Zoon from Lisse, the Netherlands....
