BIG PROFIT LOST FOR LUFTHANSA DURING Q1

FRANFURT, GERMANY, The German Lufhtansa suffered in the first quarter of 2001 an enourmous lost relatively to its operative profits, that stabilized themselves around 4,5 USDm (5 EURm) against the almost 100 of the same period of the previous year. This data goes against the trend registered by the turnover's growth, equal to 15 %, arrived to 3,24 USDbn (3,6 EURbn).
