SAS receives new A-330/300 airplane with longer range
Toulouse, France - First airline in Europe to receive this model in 242-tonne version
Scandinavian Airlines is the first European airline to receive the new A-330/300 242-tonne Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) variant. The aircraft was delivered to SAS during a ceremony held at Airbus in Toulouse, France. The carrier has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power its new A-330/300. The airline is currently operating 25 A-320 Family aircraft, plus four A-330/300s and eight A-340s....
