Germany: Green Party's firm denial to funds devoted to the MEADS missiles

Berlin, Germany - Such project would be mainly aimed more to favour rapprochement to the USA rather than protect the national land, according to the party

Germany is experiencing problems for the MEADS missile programme. Green Party would be opposing against the project managed for a 25% stake by German industry in cooperation with the United States and Italy. According to Green Party, such a programme would not so be intended as a strictly military one by German Government as it would prove more a political choice, so that decisions regarding its funds...
