Airbus increases narrow-body aircraft production rate to 46 per month

Toulouse, France - A "Quite natural" decision, the Toulouse-based company explained

Airbus decided to increase the production range of its narrowbody aircraft line from 42 to 46 examples per year by the second quarter of 2016, because of the high demand for this kind of airplanes. Airbus' move follows a similar decision taken by Boeing for its 737 family: the US' aerospace company is planning to ramp up the production from 42 to 47 aircraft per month in 2017, and is taking into consideration...
