Airbus: Tigerair, first in Asia to retrofit A-320 aircraft with Sharklets

Tigerair of Singapore unveiled the first A-320 aircraft to be retrofitted in Asia with Sharklets. Five A-320s have already been delivered to Tigerair with Sharklet-ready wings, with the retrofit work being undertaken by Sepang Aircraft Engineering in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sharklets are made from light-weight composites and are 2.4 meters tall. They are an option on new-build A-320 Family aircraft...
