Brussels, Belgium - The new European legislation does not concerns helicopter flights

The new regulation defines the entire course of action in the event of flights being cancelled: the airline will not be liable to pay compensation if the reason for the cancellation is due to exceptional reasons relating to aircraft safety, the state of the weather, air space restrictions. The carrier is instead liable to pay up to EUR 1200 compensation in case of lost, damaged or delayed baggage....
