Eagle Air aircraft still grounded after hairline-crack finding

Hamilton, New Zealand - Only four airplanes are back flying

Eagle Airways, Air New Zealand subsidiary, has still ten aircraft grounded after the finding of some hairline cracks on the tail of 14 out of the 18 Beechcraft 1900Ds it has in its fleet (AVIONEWS). The carrier, once the problem has been detected on one aircraft, promptly grounded its entire fleet: the airplanes which were not affected by the hairline cracks are just four, and they are back flying...
