Austrian Airlines begins to switch its fleet from B-737 to A-320 aircraft

Vienna, Austria - New airplanes will start to operate from October 2012

The European carrier Austrian Airlines started its dismissal program for its medium-haul aircraft Boeing 737/800, which will be replaced by 7 Airbus A-320. It is a measure which aims to limit the management costs, making Austrian Airlines fleet the more homogeneous it is possible, since the maintenance, spare parts and training expenses are lower with more aircraft of the same family....
