Boeing delivers first Bangalore-equipped Growler electronic warfare fighter aircraft to the US Navy

Washington, Usa - New cockpit floodlighting by Bharat Electronics Limited

Today May 30, 2012, Boeing delivered to the US Navy the first EA-18G Growler electronic attack aircraft with a cockpit subassembly produced by Bharat Electronics Limited (Bangalore). The subassembly provides cockpit floodlighting compatible with the aircraft's night vision imaging system. The Seattle-based aircraft maker awarded BEL an initial contract in March 2011 for Super Hornet cockpit subassemblies....
