Aircraft and carriers: Aeroflot increased profit in 2012
Moscow, Russia - Cargo and charter sectors decreased; orders for 81 aircraft by 2019
Aeroflot, the well-known Russian carrier, has declared that in 2012 it saw pre-tax profit increasing to $585.3 million against $353.5 million in 2011. Revenue grew to $5.3 billion, up on 2010's figure of 4.2 billions in 2010. Rising fuel costs also increased to $1.5 billion from $943 million in 2011.
