Irkut signs agreement with Pratt & Whitney for MS-21 aircraft engines

Moscow, Russia - The official contract will be signed by May

The Russian aircraft-maker Irkut (which is assembling 40 Sukhoi Su-30 for the Russian Air Force) is going to seal a contract with Pratt & Whitney for the supply of turbofan engines for MS-21 aircraft, the twin-engine jet which aims to compete with the 737 or the new 787. The agreement is going to be signed on 15 May for 1.1 billion dollar contract. The contract involves engines for 50 aircraft....
