Poland announced yesterday a new tender to purchase 26 multi-role helicopters for its armed forces for a total expenditure between 360 and 720 million Euro. Tomasz Siemoniak, Polish defence minister, said this was the first step to replace 250 soviet-era helicopters in the years to come and more tenders would be announced in the future.
