EMERGENCY LANDING FOR A SRI LANKAN AILINES PLANE
COLOMBO, SRI LANKA, A Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus A330 was forced to make an emergency landing due to an engine malfunctioning in flight. The plane was flying back from Maldives. The malfunctioning engine had to be shut down. None of the 153 passengers was injured. It was the fourth reported emergency for Sri Lankan Airlines since February.
