At 8:55 MSK today an Antonov AN-24 airplane -registration RA-47302- operated by Angara Airlines was serving a connection from Surgut to Tomsk-Bogashevo airport, when the left engine (an Ivchenko AI-24VT) caught fire forcing the pilots to ditch the plane on the Ob River, in Siberia (Russia). During the emergency maneuver the aircraft (which had on board 37 people including 4 crew members) crashed...
