US Air Force, contract for 18 KC-46 tanker aircraft

Boeing has announced it has received a 3.5 billion fixed price contract from USAF, US Air Force, for the design, production and delivery of 18 next generation tanker aircraft, to be carried out by 2017. This is part of the contract for 179 wide-body, multi-mission KC-46As or NewGen Tankers, based on the model 767, which the American company was awarded for the replacement of as many old KC-135 airplanes...
