Boeing unveils new 747/8 Intercontinental airplane
Washington, USA - Yesterday at its plant in Everett
Yesterday, on Sunday, February 13, 2011, about 1,000 people attended the premiere of the new high capacity 747 plane, the 747/8 Intercontinental, at Boeing's factory in Everett, Washington. According to the manufacturer, this would be the only 400-500 seat aircraft in the market and among the airlines, it would be the model with the seat/mile lowest costs, 12% less than its predecessor, the 747/400....
