RR wins contract from Thai for engines Airbus airplanes

Rome, Italy - The deliveries will begin in 2011

Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has won an order worth $390m at list prices from THAI Airways International for Trent 700 engines to power an additional seven A-330 aircraft. The order includes a TotalCare long-term service agreement for the aircraft which will be delivered from 2011. The Trent 700 is the only engine specifically designed for the A-330 and over 1,000 are now in service...
