Aena pays backlogs to Spanish flight controllers, who are likely to receive the highest salary in Europe

Madrid, Spain - The public company will give a total of 24.3 million euros

In Spain, air traffic controller on duty before 5th February 2010 have started to receive their backlogs on the base of the sign of the collective labor agreement, which take place on 13th august 2010 between Aena (Civil aviation Spanish authority) and the union Usca. The base is the national Act 9/2010. Aena paid a total of 24.3 million euros for this transaction in favour of 2,074 air controllers...
