SPIRIT AIRLINES SETS PASSENGERS CARRIED RECORD FOR MARCH 2001

FORT LAUDERDALE, CANADA, Spirit Airlines announces record-breaking traffic figures for March 2001 with 349,761 passengers carried. This is the highest number of passengers carried in a one-month period for the low fare specialist. Spirit's load factor reached 81.2 percent, among the highest in the industry and a three percent gain from the same period in 2000.
