An Air Berlin Boeing 737/800 yesterday skidded off the runway at Dortmund airport, in Germany, after the pilot had decided to stop the take off maneuver. It is likely that the runway's conditions, made slippery due to a snowfall, led the aircraft to go out of control ending in the ground aside the tarmac strip.
