British Airways workers vote for strike
London, UK - The protest against personnel cuts announced by the UK carrier
Employees at British Airways summoned by the Unite trade union have voted with 92.5% majority to hold protests from December 22 to January 2, including a strike. The workers are opposing the cut of about 1,700 jobs announced by the company's management. The British union denounced the carrier's policy to perform new employments at different and worse conditions compared to the present personnel....
