Military aircraft crashed in Ireland, both pilots killed
Cornamona, Ireland - Flight recorders found
The two pilots on board of an Irish Air Corps Pilatus PC-9 were killed yesterday in the crash that involved their aircraft near Cornamona, in the Irish region of Connemara. The two men, an instructor and a trainee, were performing a training flight after taking off from Casement Air Base. Several witnesses stated that they saw the airplane attempt an emergency landing before impacting a mountain....
