TUPOLEV TU-214 TAKES MAIDEN FLIGHT

MOSCOW, A spokesman for Financial Leasing Company /FLC/ said a first Tupolev Tu-214 jet mass-produced at Kazan Aircraft Production Association /KAPO/ made its maiden test flight on wednesday. Tu-214 is designed to carry 164 passengers and Dalavia plans to use the two Tu-214 jets on long-haul routes between Moscow and Khabarovsk, China and Korea.
