Russian company confirms MiG fighters' sale to Syria

Moscow, Russia - Contracts currently suspended and under discussion

The Russian company United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) confirmed the existence of contracts for the supply of MiG aircraft to Syria, even if they are currently frozen, as reported yesterday by the newspaper "Kommersant" quoting UAC's director general Alexei Fedorov. "A few years ago, two contracts were signed -Fedorov explained- one for the supply to Syria of MiG-29 Fulcrums and one for MiG-31 Foxhounds....
