Rangoon, Myanmar - There where involved most of all some fishermen being in the sea just when the anomalous wave arrived
Moderate but unexpected effects were produced by the anomalous wave also in Myanmar, Bangladesh and in some countries in the Eastern coast of Africa such as Somalia and Kenya. Rangoon's Government proves not so willing to unveil the precise figures on the disaster but it seems that one can talk about 12 casualties, all fishermen being sailing when the waterquake arrived.
