Indian Air Force points on Sukhoi Su-30s

New Delhi, India - The fleet might be extended to 230 aircraft by 2015

The Indian Air Force might increase its fleet of Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighters to 230 aircraft by 2015. According to New Delhi's minister of defence, Arackaparambil Kurian Antony, this Russian-built model "Is best suited for Indian conditions. We have purchased 98 Su-30MKI combat jets since 1996". It has not been said if the new fighters will be purchased or produced by local HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics)...
