Swiss reduces winter season flights
Zurich, Switzerland - 9% cut to the Swiss carrier's operations
The airline Swiss of Switzerland will reduce its winter season capacity by 9%, to face the global crisis of air traffic. The statement, reported by the "Sonntag" newspaper, has been confirmed by Franco Gullotti, spokesman for the carrier. In particular, weekly flights from Zurich to New York will decrease from 21 to 18, while several other long-haul routes will pass from seven to six weekly frequencies....
