Air France disaster, BEA: the A-330 did not break up in flight

Paris, France - Searches for the black boxes will continue until July 10

The French BEA (Bureau d'Enquetes et d'Analyses), the agency that is investigating on June 1st accident in which 228 people were killed on board of an Air France Airbus A-330/200, issued today the first results of the inquiry. According to the investigators, the aircraft would not have broken up in flight, but on impact with the ocean, where it ditched while performing flight AF447 from Rio de Janeiro...
