The "Solar Impulse", sun-powered aircraft realized by Bertrand Piccard, has been presented today at Duebendorf airfield, Switzerland. 22-meters long, with the wingspan of a Boeing 747 and weighing as a medium car, the aircraft has 11,628 solar cells granting it a power of 40 hp capable to bring it to a speed of 70 km/h.
