USAF to seek T-38C replacement

Washington, USA - The trainer entered into service 50 years ago

US Air Force (USAF) is seeking a replacement for its Northrop T-38C trainer fleet starting from 2017. For this reason an industry market survey was launched to find the best solution. The aging aircraft will anyway remain into service until 2026. The new systems must be capable to supply in flight and simulated training for the new 5th generation fighters that put pilots through 9G accelerations....
