Back to service the Scottish coast guard's S-92s
Edinburgh, UK - They were grounded after the Canadian accident
After being grounded following the accident in Newfoundland (see AVIONEWS) the four Sikorsky S-92s in use to the Scottish coast guard have been granted the "All clear" to go back into regular service. The helicopters have been reviewed and the operations requested by the constructor have been completed. While they were grounded, the emergency service has been supplied by RAF and Royal Navy.
