A new launch vehicle for Japan

Tokyo, Japan - Produced by Mitsubishi the H-IIB will carry the HTV to the International Space Station

It will take-off in 2009 the new JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) launch vehicle H-IIB. Produced by Mitsubishi it will carry the H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) to the ISS. It will be used also for possible future missions to the Moon. The increased load capacity of the H-IIB in comparison to the H-IIA, of which it is the natural evolution, will also allow the launch of more than one satellite...
