Irish Government is in talks with shareholders and unions of Aer Lingus
Dublin, Ireland - To decide the future of the airline

Irish Government is in talks with shareholders and unions, representing the different employees’ categories of Aer Lingus in order to decide as soon as next month the future of the carrier. Analysts foresee the Government will opt for a part privatization of the national flag carrier (see AVIONEWS) which has been replacing itself as a low-cost airline since a brush with bankruptcy in 2001.
