US: airlines closed 2008 with a net drop of passengers
Atlanta, USA - Only two carriers recorded positive results
The first data of the statistics for the US airlines' air traffic reported a net drop equal to 3.1%. As regards passengers transported of the first ten US airlines, only two carriers closed 2008 with positive results: AirTran and JetBlue, +3.5% and +2.5%, respectively. Bad results for United, in drop of 7.7%.
