British Airways and Qantas: a possible merger?

As an answer to the recent media speculation, British Airways Plc confirms it is considering a potential merger with Qantas Airways Limited through a double structure. In the meantime it continues the negotiations with Iberia. There are no guarantees for the transactions to be imminent and a new announcement will be proclaimed in due course, if necessary, the English company informs in a note.
