This morning an Air Europa Boeing 737 airplane, carrying 74 people and coming from Glasgow, has skidded off a runway on landing in the Canary Islands. The airplane skidded onto an area of beach just metres from the airport's perimeter fence. Passengers said to have reported feeling strong vibrations in the wings before the plane crashed.
