Norwegian helps Sterling passengers

Oslo, Norway - "We will delay the retirement of MD-80 planes"

In a press release published on its website, Norwegian Air Shuttle disclosed that it will implement a series of measures with the aim of helping Sterling passengers, after the air company bankruptcy (see AVIONEWS). According to the carrier's CEO, Bjørn Kjos, "Norwegian has some spare aircraft capacity due to our plans to phase out our MD-80 planes. We will now delay the retirement of these planes"....
