HH-60 Jayhawk crashed in Alaska: missing search continues
Anchorage, Alaska - The cause of the crash was still unknown
The search continues for six people still missing in frigid waters of Alaska’s Bering Sea, following a Coast Guard helicopter HH-60 Jayhawk crashed aiding a freighter due to a possible spill (see for details AVIONEWS). Unfortunately, the odds of their survival are very slim. The Coast Guard supported the cause of the crash was still unknown and missing occupants are Indian and Filipino citizens.
