Iran: an earthquake hits the Country
Teheran, Iran - Magnitude 6.1
An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 hit around 200 villages in South Iran, followed by nearly ten aftershocks, the strongest of magnitude 4.8 (Richter). The epicentre was located at around 55 km east of Bandar e-Abbas, in an oil rich area. The quake, felt also in United Arab Emirates, has partly saved a Country, located on seismic fault lines. The latest earthquake was in 2003, when 30.000 people died....
