Alitalia (3): UIL does not confirm 5,000 redundancies

Rome, Italy - Veneziani: "These are journalistic indiscretions"

"5,000 redundancies are journalistic indiscretions. According to other information, these redundancies could be less and the plan could be better than predicted", UIL-Transport Secretary Marco Veneziani reported to the Italian press. "We have correct figures about redundancies -Secretary said. Alitalia has not confirmed yet, but the situation is in the hands of Intesa-Sanpaolo".
