Alitalia (7): a possible bridge-loan must be notified to EC

Brussels, Belgium - The statement of Jacques Barrot

"If there will be a bridge-loan for Alitalia, this must be notified to European Commission", the European Commissioner for Transport, Jacques Barrot, said after a press conference on the road safety. Barrot said that he has not received any communications and explained "The notice will be necessary to see that is not about State aids".
