They were passed off as fishes and packed in 60 containers full of water and ice: over a ton of snakes, belonging to the protected species of python, have been found onboard a Vietnam Airlines airplane in flight from Bangkok to Hanoi. Most of the snakes died during the transport. Probably, the snakes were destined to the smuggled sale. The survivors find now in the Nguyen Ba Oanh animal centre.
