USA, also forbidden lithium batteries in the hand luggage
Washington, USA - Starting from January 1st, 2008
If in the UK some luggage restrictions are let up, in the US they increase: starting from January 1st, 2008, also lithium batteries are forbidden. The US Transport Department allows passengers to carry a maximum of two lithium batteries in the hand luggage and in that embarked. The batteries must be separated in appropriate plastic bags or put into their original packages. The measure is necessary...
