Air China and Shanghai Airlines official partners of Star Alliance

Beijing, China - The alliance rises to 19 members

Today the official entrance ceremony of two new members in Star Alliance was held at the new Terminal Number 3 of the Beijing Capital International Airport. They are Air China, China's national carrier and only partner of the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, and Shanghai Airlines, other important Chinese carrier. The number of Star Alliance members rises hence to 19, for an overall amount of 17,000 flights...
