Volare Group: to make workers idle
Milan, Italy - Either ground staff or flight will be involved
After the Italian low-cost airline declared insolvency this night (see for details AVIONEWS), its Board of Directors asked to make workers redundant for a month, either the ground staff or flight. The union trade Fit-Cgil said "Redundancy fund will be demanded for all 1400 workers". Union naturally is in favour of such action because it would help to "cushion the blow".
